Honey Bear Bush Camp
Honeybear Bush Camp is located on the south bank of the Kazinga Channel in Kyambura Game Reserve, which is part of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Honeybear is the sole camp in the area, guaranteeing an intimate, classic safari experience.
The camp consists of five beautifully appointed double en-suite safari tents with outdoor bucket showers. Each tent is designed to provide views of the Kazinga canal and the Rwenzori Mountains. You will fall asleep to hippos' grunts and awake to herds of elephants coming down for their daily drink. The name is inspired by Ava Gardner's brave character, Eloise 'Honey Bear' Kelly, from the 1953 film 'Mogambo'. A chic, sophisticated, and sassy New York socialite arrives by river boat in a remote African outpost. Gardner's persona exemplifies all Honeybear Bush Camp stands for: sophistication in the wilderness.
