Situated on the brink of the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, Lemala Osonjoi is due to open in March 2025 and provides guests with an all-encompassing experience that highlights the splendour of nature via thoughtfully designed rooms that are sophisticated and have a distinct sense of place. With its unparalleled location on the Crater rim, less than 250 metres from the current Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp, the new Lemala Osonjoi Lodge is poised to capitalise on the Ngorongoro Crater's famed scenery and profusion of animals.
The main section of Lemala Osonjoi Lodge offers breath-taking views of the crater floor below. The less-travelled Lemala access road leads to the eastern quadrant of the well-known UNESCO World Heritage site, where guests can explore the crater bottom. Guests of Lemala Osonjoi Lodge are among the first to arrive on the Crater floor every morning and the last to go each evening, giving them exclusive access to excellent wildlife viewing chances. Lemala's characteristic soft lighting, natural materials, and comfortable beds are deliberately arranged in each suite to create an ambiance that encourages visitors to relax and embrace a slower pace of life. Cosy lounging spaces with plush blankets and cushions make the ideal environment for enjoying a cup of coffee obtained locally or curling up with a good book. The property's shared swimming pool, which is heated by specially designed solar panels, is situated behind floor to ceiling windows and offers stunning views of the surrounding wildlife habitat.
