Set in the heart of Hwange National Park, Somalisa Camp offers guests the perfect blend of old African charm and elegance. Tucked beneath an acacia island along the edge of an ancient seasonal flood plain, this camp has breathtaking views of the savannah plains of the famous Kennedy Vlei line. Each tent is stunning and overlooks the very active waterhole. Elephants are well known to visit the pool in the main area, even while you are in it!

Days 4 to 7 - Zambezi Expeditions , Mana Pools National Park

The legendary Mana Pools is known for its wildlife, rich flood plains and magnificent views of the Zambezi River. The river boasts some of Africa’s most amazing tiger fishing and adventure canoeing safaris, creating the perfect combination of beauty and fun and making this World Heritage site a must-visit National Park. Guests will be transferred to the Zambezi Expeditions Camp by light aircraft transfer after morning activities at The Hide, and so they embark on three days spent admiring the splendour of the Zambezi River.

The four twin-bed luxury mobile camp is set up prior to guests' arrival near the Zambezi River, providing the opportunity to canoe and fish, either from the river bank or off an island in the middle of the river. All tents have ensuite bathroom facilities that include flushing toilets and hot bucket showers, giving Zambezi Expedition Camp a luxurious camping reputation. A well-serviced mess tent with a dining and seating area forms part of the camp.

Day 7 to 9 - Kanga Bush Camp , Mana Pools National Park

After the morning adventure and a filling breakfast, guests will embark on a game drive through Mana Pools National Park to their next destination; Kanga Bush Camp. Located in a remote private concession, this luxury tented camp provides the perfect safari getaway where visitors can explore this game-rich area of mopane woodland and the Kanga Pan. The waterhole that Kanga Camp overlooks is the only source of refreshment for much of the wildlife in the area, and it attracts large concentrations of plains game and buffalo, as well as, lion, leopard and wild dog.

In truly spectacular fashion, this perfectly positioned camp accommodates its guests in six canvas meru-style tents, one of which is a family tent. Constructed on raised wooden decks, the lounge, dining and bar areas provide great elevated vantage points over the surrounding woodland and the busy waterhole. Beautifully lit outdoor bathrooms are adjoined individually to each tent, which offer guests a unique open-air showering experience. This is an undeniably fantastic destination from where to tour Mana Pools.
