Home to great herds of elephants and well known for lions and cheetahs, this large park offers one of the best safari experiences in Southern Africa.
This 6 night safari starts with a road transfer from Victoria Falls to the first camp, Deteema Springs. After 3 nights you will be transferred through Hwange to Verney’s Camp for your last 3 nights. This tour ends back in Victoria Falls.

Days 1 to 4 -
Deteema Springs
, Hwange National Park
On arrival at Victoria Falls airport, you will be met and transferred by road to your first camp in the Hwange National Park; Deteema Springs. This road transfer takes guests through Ndebele villages and the prime game territory that is Hwange National Park - so the safari begins immediately and takes about two and a half hours. Deteema Springs in near the Deteema Dam and is famous for large concentration of animals. Offering walking and game drives, this camp offers an incredible safari experience.
A newly opened camp, Deteema Springs is an intimate and luxury tented safari camp. Each tent is on a raised deck offering views across the plain. Each tent is ensuite and has a private sitting area on the deck. The camp is near the Deteema Dam, which offers a year round water supply ensuring large concentrations of animals. The main areas has a swimming pool and the deck overlooks the Deteema Spring. Enjoy game watching from the deck or your own private deck, go on twice daily game drives as well as enjoy a walking safari.
Days 4 to 7 - Verney's Camp , Hwange National Park
After breakfast you will depart of a game drive transfer with a picnic lunch for your next camp, Verney’s Camp. This drive windes through Hwange and takes about 5 hours. Verney’s Camp is located in a private concession within the popular south-eastern section of the national park. Nestled under a teak forest the camp overlooks a waterhole that attracts numerous animals throughout the day.
Verney’s Camp offers a luxury safari experience for discerning travellers. Each tent is spacious with an en suite bathroom and a sitting area overlooking the waterhole. The camp is in a private concession in a remote part of Hwange ensuring a low density experience.
Day 7 - Depart back to Victoria Falls Airport
After breakfast and morning activities, guests are transferred by road back to Victoria Falls airport in time for their onward travel arrangements.
