Days 1 to 3 - Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero , Chobe National Park
On arrival at Kasane airport you will be met by a Sanctuary representative transferred by road to Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero Camp for 2 nights. Chobe Chilwero is set on a hilltop with panoramic views of the Chobe River.
All of Chobe Chilwero’s suites have fabulous views and are large with private gardens. There are indoor and outdoor showers and all the conveniences you would need. Activities at Chobe Chilwero include cruises on the Chobe River and watching the sunset on the water, game drives in the Chobe National Park and a newly launched photographic safari boat.
Days 3 to 5 -
Baines Camp
, southern Okavango Delta
After breakfast you will be driven to Kasane airport for a light aircraft transfer to Sanctuary Baines Camp for 2 nights. This intimate safari camp is a luxury safari camp in one of the most dynamic and game rich areas in the Okavango.
Baines Camp, named after the famed 19th Century explorer and artist Thomas Baines, is located on the Boro River, in the private concession neighbouring the Moremi Game Reserve. Baines Camp has luxurious suites set on elevated platforms with wooden decks offering expansive views over the permanent water of the Boro River. Your four-poster bed is fully mobile and can be wheeled out onto your private deck for a night under the stars! The area is superb for viewing all animals and bird species. You can explore by land in open 4x4 vehicles, often into the night, to discover nocturnal species. Walking safaris teach you how to track animals and the waterways can be explored by motorised boating and mokoro excursions.
Days 5 to 7 - Chiefs Camp , Moremi Game Reserve
After breakfast and morning activities, you will be transferred by light aircraft to Sanctuary Chiefs Camp for 2 nights. This exclusive and intimate safari camp offers extraordinary luxury and exceptional game viewing. Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles and seasonal mokoro excursions are the activities on offer at Chiefs Camp.
Sanctuary Chiefs Camp is situated on Chiefs Island in the Moremi Game Reserve and is known as the predator capital of Botswana. Sanctuary Chiefs camp has secluded, permanent luxury bush pavilions with modern conveniences like air-conditioning and folding doors open the bathroom up so you can enjoy a soak in the tub with an extraordinary view. Each pavilion has a plunge pool and private deck to soak up the vista. The main areas are safari chic and beautifully appointed. Apart from its predators, the area is also renowned for its large concentrations of plains game, elephant and buffalo. Both white & black rhino were introduced in 2001 and 2003 respectively.
Day 7 - Depart to Kasane Airport
After breakfast and morning activities, guests are transferred by light aircraft back to Maun airport in time for their onward travel arrangements.
