This luxurious lodge offers exclusive accommodation, warm hospitality and the ultimate game experience in one of the most scenic reserves in Africa. Only a 2,5 hour drive from Johannesburg and set on a rocky outcrop, Mhondoro boasts sweeping views of the unspoilt, pristine African bushveld. With an exclusive waterhole sited in front of the main lodge sundeck, you are assured of intimate sightings of the Welgevonden wildlife as well as awe inspiring sunrises and sunsets. Mhondoro Lodge is also easy accessible by aeroplane. When you board at Lansaria airport, it will take approximately one hour for you to arrive nearby Mhondoro Lodge.

Mhondoro Game Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
Qualified guides will accompany guests on daily game drives. Game drives are experienced in open 4x4 vehicles. Guests can expect to see impala, warthog, giraffe, rhino, kudu, eland, elephant as well as a multitude of general game. Guided Bush walks are on offer for the more energetic guests; providing the opportunity for a more intimate experience of the fauna and flora of Africa. Not only will guests enjoy the big five sightings; but views of the little five are also common; including the elephant shrew, leopard tortoise, rhino beetle, buffalo weaver, and ant lion. Guests are treated to snacks and a welcome drink at the Main Gate boma and are then transferred directly to the Lodge. Sundowners and snacks are served on the evening game drives.
