Aloe Lodge
The lodge boasts panoramic views of the surroundings and guests can watch game drink from the waterhole from their bedrooms. Aloe Lodge provides guests with 11 furnished bedrooms, all of which are equipped with en-suite bathrooms.

Aloe Lodge is situated adjacent the La Tala Restaurant and provides elevated views of the reserve which spans over the grasslands. The lodge is the ideal place to observe grazing antelope and rhino. Game viewing is spectacular within the area as well as a variety of 380 bird species that bird enthusiasts can look forward to spotting.

Aloe Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
Activities at Aloe Lodge include bush walks, abseiling & rock climbing, teaching guests orienteering & fire making skills, bird watching, swimming in the river and bass fishing. Other activities that are included in all programmes are day and night game drives and wild bird ringing with Ornithologist, Dr Barry Taylor. Guests get to see animals, plants and the eco-systems of Tala Private Game Reserve.
