Guests at Okahirongo Elephant Lodge can choose between a variety of activities including wildlife and nature drives as well as sunrise and sunset drives; hiking trails are available in and around the Hoarusib Valley. Other activities include Elephant drives, Bird watching as well as the unique Desert Lion Project; Okahirongo Elephant Lodge works closely with the Desert Lion Project to help protect these magnificent predators through sustainable ecotourism. Guests can also visit the local Himba Village for a fascinating cultural experience. Guests will have the privilege of seeing desert- adapted wildlife unique to the area including elephants, black rhinos, giraffes and lions as well as other smaller species.
