Mowani Mountain Camp is situated between the Ugab and the Huab Rivers south of Damaraland, an enormous untouched wilderness area. The region offers spectacular desert scenery, unusual geological formations and a variety of desert fauna and flora. Accommodation at Mowani Mountain Camp is offered in 12 luxurious safari tents with en-suite facilities. The service here is both professional and personal with a high attention to detail.

Mowani Mountain Camp Game Viewing and Activities
There are a variety of activities on offer at Mowani Mountain Camp.
Guests can enjoy early morning guided nature drives where you will expect to see indigenous game such as mountain zebra, kudu, springbok and ostrich. If you are lucky enough, Leopard and cheetah are also found in the area. One can also go in search of the elusive desert elephant. For those interested, hiking trips are also available.
Twyfelfontein is famous for its Bushmen engravings and paintings. This magnificent archaeological site offers more than 2,500 engravings as well as various paintings, and is probably the finest example of rock engravings in Southern Africa. Outings to view these can be organised within the camp.
Erongo Wilderness Lodge
Erongo Wilderness Lodge is a luxury tented camp situated in the Erongo Mountain Nature Reserve two and a half hours from Windhoek near a town called Omaruru. The area offers a diverse ecosystem as well as a variety of rare and endemic plant and animal species.
