Shaba National Reserve in Kenya is a semi desert made famous for its association with the world famous conservationists Joy and George Adamson and the film 'Born Free'. Animals most commonly seen in the area around Joy's Camp include elephants, lions, cheetahs, Grevy's zebras, giraffes, gerenuks, buffalos, Oryx, Grant's gazelles, dik diks and waterbuck.
