Tortilis Camp is situated in the Amboseli National Park in Kenya. Amboseli is world famous for its spectacular views of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro as well as the local elephant population. There are over 1000 elephants in the parks eco-system, featuring some of the largest in Africa. Tortilis Camp is named after the umbrella thorn tree, the Acacia Tortilis that can be found in the Amboseli National Park. Activities at the camp include game drives, bush walks, sundowners and bush dinners and guests will have the privilege of exploring the enormous and private 30,000 acre game concession.
Amboseli National Park covers an area of 392km², only a small portion of the surrounding 3,000km² of Amboseli ecosystem. The park is renowned for its magnificent views of Mt.
