An elegant Family Cottage is now available for guests travelling with young children. This quaint, thatched, private accommodation is a new addition to the recently opened Khwai Tented Camp and is set on the banks of a lagoon flowing into the Khwai River in the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana and offers families several unique ways to experience this magical part of Africa.

- A private vehicle will be allocated to the Family Cottage for groups of 4 pax and more.
Khwai Family Cottage Game Viewing and Activities
Khwai is a community run private concession, which forms the eastern border of the Moremi Game Reserve along the Khwai River. This river is the only source of water for miles attracting an abundance of wildlife. The area around Khwai is renowned to offer some of the best game viewing in Africa. Large concentrations of elephant and buffalo can be seen on a regular basis. The predator viewing is very good and guests can expect to see lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog as well as many antelope species. The birdlife is prolific in the area. The Khwai River that seperates the concession from the Moremi, attracts a multitude of wildlife species. Please note that a private vehicle will be allocated to the Family Cottage for groups of 4 pax and more. Groups under 4 pax will be required to hire a private vehicle at USD 250 per day.
