Deception Valley Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
A cultural experience with San Bushmen is one experience that will never fade. Activities include game drives in open 4X4 vehicles, night drives to explore the nocturnal species, bird watching, over 200 species, from the deck at the main lodge or in a hide at one of the water holes, nature walks with experienced guides, guided walks with the Bushmen to explore their culture, survival and hunting skills and their extraordinary knowledge of the veldt and animal life, interact with the Bushmen on one of the Cultural walks, specialized guided walks are also available and guests will learn about survival of plant, animal and man in this arid semi desert. Guests can expect to see the rare Kalahari lion, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, kudu and if lucky, the elusive brown hyena. The night drives in particular will reveal a world of interesting nocturnal species. Deception Valley is a bird watcher's paradise.
