Days 1 to 3 - Bateleur Camp, Masai Mara National Park

To start off this luxurious safari, guests take a scheduled light air transfer from Wilson Airport in Nairobi to the game-rich Masai Mara National Park. This is a predator-filled park; part of the loop made by the masses of migrating wildebeest and zebra every year. At the perfectly positioned Bateleur Camp, guests will see the area on morning and afternoon game drives in open Land Rovers and fascinating night explorations that traverse the private concession adjacent to the reserve in search of predators and other nocturnal animals.

Bateleur Camp commands sweeping views over the premier wildlife region of the Mara plains. It is an intimate camp that reflects the ambience of a vintage Kenyan era. Guests will be spoilt by the exclusive service of a personal butler at the stunning camp that was voted one of the World's Best Hotels in 2011. The dining area and veranda have views of the endless game-filled plains of the Mara and enjoys a backdrop of the dramatic Oloololo Escarpment.

Days 3 to 5 - Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Lake Manyara National Park

After an early start at Bateleur Camp, guests are flown from the Mara to Lake Manyara in Tanzania via Nariobi and Kilimanjaro airports. Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life and breath-taking views; located en route to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. Known for its elephants and tree-climbing lions, while it is also excellent for watching flocks of pink flamingos and other fascinating birds in and around the soda lake. In addition to the lions, the national park is also home to the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world - a true wildlife destination.

Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley. It offers 10 stylish tree houses built on stilts offering a peaceful and private experience amongst the mahogany trees. This is a truly unique luxury experience, with elegant and spacious rooms adorned private viewing decks and en suite bathrooms that allow guests to relax in a deep bath or refresh in an invigorating outdoor shower. A fantastic venue for the first 2 nights in Tanzania!

Days 5 to 7 - Grumeti Tented Camp, Serengeti National Park

To continue to the next leg of the safari, guests take a scheduled light air transfer from Lake Manyara to Grumeti. Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp is situated in the private and remote Western Corridor of the Serengeti offering an abundance of wildlife year round. The camp offers the perfect spot to view the magnificent migration in season between June and July and is the only area of the Serengeti home to the Colobus monkeys. The Grumeti River is famous for its enormous crocodiles and is home to an abundance of hippos, making the crossing of the wildebeest and zebra an exhilarating spectacle.

This luxury camp offers 10 prestigious safari tents, each boasting a furnished deck and en suite facilities. The spacious viewing decks are ideal for sundowners while watching the magnificent river views before enjoying the decadently comfortable beds for 2 exceptional nights in the Serengeti National Park. A traditional boma promises romantic dinners under the stars and a glorious rim-flow pool situated on the banks of the river will allow guests to cool off while admiring the magnificent view.

Days 7 to 9 - Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater

After 2 nights in the Serengeti, guests take a scheduled light air transfer from Grumeti back to Lake Manyara and are road transferred to Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, which is situated on the border of the famous Ngorongoro Crater – a World Heritage Site. It lies within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8 000 square kilometres of pristine African wilderness. At the eastern edge of the Serengeti, and nearly three million years old, Ngorongoro is one of the most perfectly formed and certainly the most spectacular calderas on the planet. This is a truly unique destination that will certainly impress on visitors' memories for a lifetime.

At Crater Lodge, guests will be treated to a combination of modern luxury and traditional old Africa in classic Masai-styled suites. Each stilted suite is tastefully decorated with wooden floors, beautiful silk curtains, hand-beaded chandeliers as well as a cosy fireplace and a butlers lobby. An elegant final 2 nights in Tanzania staying in suites boasting viewing decks with spectacular views of the Crater floor as they perch on the very rim of this historical landmark.

Day 9 - Depart back to Nairobi Airport

After breakfast and morning activities, guests are transferred via road, back to Lake Manyara airstrip and catch a scheduled light air transfer from Manyara to Kilimanjaro to Nairobi, where they will continue with their onward travel arrangements.
