Msandile River Lodge
Msandile River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Luangwa River. Observe elephant herds crossing the river, giraffe coming to drink, hippos taking a dip in their pods, monkeys chatting through the trees, and, if you're lucky, cats ambling down the river banks in quest of their next prey.
The lodge, which is surrounded by unspoiled environment, combines luxury and sustainability. The eco-friendly resort maintains a high standard of comfort and style while only leaving behind wonderful memories. The tents and chalets all have fantastic river views so you may observe wildlife without interruption in the comfort of your own accommodation. Choose between the opulent en-suite chalets, which can be completely opened to reveal views of the river and the stars, the traditional en-suite tents, which offer a taste of a true safari and feature both indoor and outdoor showers, or the standard tents, which are available for those on a tighter budget or who prefer to camp in true explorer style and have access to shared bathrooms.

As you cross the river into the park for our morning and evening game drives, your guide will accompany you on a brief boat ride through the hippo pods and crocodile sunning areas. You may begin your spectacular wilderness experience once you're inside the car. With almost three leopards per square kilometre, South Luangwa, sometimes known as the "valley of the leopards," has some of the highest cat densities! Not to be outdone, the park is home to other lion prides, including the well-known offspring of Ginger and Garlic, the light-skinned males of the Mfuwe area. When not wildlife watching, take a swim in our cool pool while enjoying the view of the river, letting nature rejuvenate and calm your spirit. One of the best places in Africa to see a sunset, enjoy the breath-taking views while sipping a chilled beverage from the bar and watching the different animals cross the river as dusk falls.
