Molori Safari Lodge
The remote Molori Safari in South Africa's North West Province, bordering Botswana, offers full solitude and stunning views of the Dwarsberg Mountains and the Madikwe Valley. Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa's fifth largest, is home to the Super Seven, which includes the Big Five as well as cheetah and the endangered African Wild Dog. The reserve is also home to over 350 bird species.
Molori Safari is made up of five distinct open-air suites that are deliberately separated from one another to provide complete seclusion. Two premier suites, one family premier suite, and two presidential suites are available. All have retractable glass walls from floor to ceiling that open into a private deck and swimming pool. The main lodge at Molori Safari has four dining spaces, a library, a spacious lounge room and a bar. The living room and bar sections lead out onto an outdoor deck with a hot spa bath and twin infinity pools. For the best wildlife views, the topmost hilltop terrace also has a rim-flow chilled spa bath. On Molori's several relaxation decks, guests can relax with a glass, a book, or a cigar, including the coveted reading and star decks, which also offer comfortable daybeds. The main lodge library has a huge range of popular literature as well as a well-equipped humidor with a superb selection of imported cigars (for a fee). Satellite TV and a DVD player are also accessible in the main lodge.
