Wildlife viewing is superb with the Big Five, along with Cheetah and over thirty species of game roaming freely in the reserve.   • Guests can opt to dine around a crackling fire in the lodge's traditional boma.
  • The reserve's well stocked dams offer keen fly fisherman a chance to indulge in this tranquil pastime.
  • Visit the monuments and and historical grave sites while hearing stories about the grand heritage of the Battlefields.
  • The Cheetah Interaction Project offers guests opportunities to interact with the cheetahs.

The Springbok Lodge Game Viewing and Activities

The Springbok Lodge offers a variety of activities; including, two three-hour game drives a day (weather permitting), fishing in the reserve's dams, Battlefield tours by arrangement, picnics/dinners at waterfall, river swimming and bush dinners and breakfasts can also be arranged. Guests can also track wildlife with a ranger with prior confirmation. Other options include a visit the Rorke's Drift and Isandlwana Battlefields approximately 60 minutes from Nambiti. The Elandslaagte area is rich in history that dates back to the late 1800s, where some of the bloodiest battles in history were fought as Zulus, Boers, and British forces clashed over land and sovereignty. The Battle of Elandslaagte was fought on the Nambiti Conservancy and the original hospital still stands within its boundaries
