Hartford House Activities
The Midlands Meander Route offers a combination of art and craft outlets located amongst the rolling hills in KwaZulu Natal. Launched in 1985, five crafters wanted people to meet the artists in their studios rather than seeing their work in distant art galleries and shops. Today there is a network of roads that link over 60 artists and crafters residing in this beautiful part of South Africa. A variety of outdoor activities are available including horse riding, golf, fishing, nature walks, historical rock art and hot air ballooning. There are also a variety of scenic spots to visit along the way.
