Singita Castleton Lodge Game Viewing and Activities

Wildlife in the Sabi Sand Reserve lives up to its international reputation. Abundant in the Big Five and numerous smaller creatures, the reserve is divided by the Sand River, an important source of water. The position of this prime land is perfectly suited to game viewing. Groves of acacia thornveld, Marula trees and flatcrowns give way to open expanses of grassland, where zebra, antelope and wildebeest graze. Drainage lines and dry river beds are leopard territory and these majestic cats are often spotted. Expert rangers and trackers will accompany guests on wildlife expeditions. The camp offers game drives and guided bush walks and the finest big five game viewing in Southern Africa. Lions have always visited Singita Castleton. Game safaris are offered in an open Land Rover, accompanied by a personal game ranger and tracker team. Walking and night safaris round off an exceptional wildlife experience which include the Big Five, Cheetah, Wild dog, Antelope species and a vast array of spectacular birdlife.
