Kitara Camp Game Viewing and Activities
Kitara Camp is part of an exclusive, privately-owned wildlife sanctuary and situated in the north-western sector of the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park; situated to the west of the Timbavati. The area is approximately 60 000 hectares in size on either side of the Klaserie River. Wildlife in the area includes rhino, warthog, elephant, lion, leopard and many antelope species. The focus at Kitara Camp is on the bush and its eco-systems, including activities like the tracking of Africa's big game. Experienced and professional guides and rangers accompany guests on all game activities including game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, bush walks, tracking and bird watching. Star-gazing at Kitara Camp is phenomenal.
