Porini Rhino Camp Game Viewing and Activities

The conservancy is a haven for rescued chimpanzees and is home to the Big 5. The camp adopts a philosophy of sustainable and responsible tourism, and aims to generate income for the local Maasai community. The staff and guides are outstanding. Visit the Northern white rhino enclosure, only 7 left in the world and 4 are located in the Laikapa/Ol Pejeta Conservancy. One of these precious rhino, Baraka, is blind and therefore, even more defenseless, but at Porini Rhino Camp, guests are offered the unique experience of feeding this unusual animal. Game drives are taken in the camp’s 4x4 safari vehicles with qualified safari guides. Guided walks are taken on the open plains escorted by Maasai warriors. Night drives are also taken to see the nocturnal animals. All the Big Five have been seen on game drives from the camp.
