This magnificent camp is located in the heart of The Delta, only a short helicopter ride from Maun, a pioneering safari town in northern Botswana on the banks of the Thamalakane River. The Camp is set on the brink of a permanent body of water, making it ideal for days full of adventure and action or for guests to take time away from the world and reconnect with it as it should be.
The design of this private 5-bedroom sole-use camp is sleek, modern, and refined, with African roots. It's a house with hand-crafted finishes in timber and canvas, built with affection for our guests, and staffed by a crew that provides genuine and delightful service while being passionately proud of their Botswanan heritage. The family suite consists of two luxury tented suites joined by communal sitting and dining areas. Ideal for parents with small children or close family members who want to be closer together.The family suite features four air conditioning units, one for each of the bedrooms and bathrooms. The main section of the lodge features an intimate sitting room with comfy seating surrounding a roaring fire and a family-friendly house kitchen where guests can interact with the Daunara chefs.

Days at Daunara may be as action-packed or as calm as the guests would like. With so many activities to select from, making a decision is challenging. From the camp, guests may take helicopter rides, observe elephant coexistence and conservation programmes, and engage in cultural activities.Alternatively, day tours might take you to the huge salt pans of Makgadikgadi or across the ancient Tsodillo Hills. In between game drives and exciting adventure activities, guests have the option to fit in a short exercise at the gym or a soothing massage in our specialised massage pavilion.
