Set in the middle of the bush, in a valley between the Khomas Highlands and Otjivahera Mountains, yet only about twenty minutes north of Windhoek, Immanuel Wilderness Lodge is a very good option for your first or last night in Namibia if you are not enamoured with the idea of staying in Windhoek city. Built on ten hectares of land, and on a rise overlooking the rolling hills that make up this area of Namibia, this small, delightful lodge is owned and run by the Hock family.
Experience pure Africa at nearby farms and enjoy the opportunity to see wild animals; such as, lions, leopards or cheetahs. Guests are welcome to wander to the Kavango carver´s market and discuss bargains over African articles of virtue! Take a stroll around Windhoek, Namibia's german-influenced capital, where there is much history to learn about. Due to the central location, guests will find these many attractions and only a few minutes away, making it very convenient. See and experience Namibian nature from a different perspective on one of the contemplative landscape horserides. Guests will be led alongside a dry river and possibly catch sight of shy antelope species and see the many different species of birds, the stone formations and the fantastic sunset.
