Royal Malewane Description

Royal Malewane consists of eight luxurious safari suites, 2 being Royal Suites, with a wood terrace, thatched gazebo and spillway pool. The suites offer a luxurious air-conditioned bedroom/sitting room with a fireplace, antique furniture, a canopied king-size bed as well as an extravagant bathroom with a Victorian bath and indoor and outdoor showers. Elevated walkways link the suites to the main camp, which is the heart of Royal Malewane. Thatched-roof buildings house the library, shop, dining and reception areas. A well equipped gym and spa facility, offer health and skincare therapy by internationally qualified in-house therapists. Within the shade of Acacia thorn and boasting magnificent views, the Royal & Malewane Suites are the pinnacle of refinement and luxury. These extravagant private hideaways accommodate four guests each in two en- suite rooms, private lounge and dining facilities. Complimentary services include a private butler & chef, private game drives and up to 4 complimentary massages per suite per day.

Royal Malewane Game Viewing

The 13 000 hectare reserve where Royal Malewane is located is home to the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. Over 300 recorded bird species make for a magnificent birding experience. Game viewing is tailored to guests' unique and individual needs, either by open Land Rover or on foot. Expert and experienced rangers and trackers accompany guests on all game activities. A typical day spent at Royal Malewane usually involves an early morning game drive followed by a leisurely breakfast. Guests can then enjoy the luxury of the camp before lunch is served or an afternoon game drive with sundowners, followed by a night drive in search of exciting nocturnal game. Dinner is served under the African sky or with silver & crystal in the dining areas.
