Chapungu Tented Camp Description
Chapungu Luxury Tented Camp offers 8 luxury tents accommodating a maximum of 16 guests at a time. The rooms have air-conditioning and overhead fans as well as tea and coffee making facilities and overlook a granite pool set amongst magnificent trees. The water hole at Chapungu Camp is a major attraction with plenty of animals coming down for a drink. The camp has a rock pool, curio shop, boma and dining area. The food and service at the camp is outstanding.
Chapungu Tented Camp Game Viewing
Chapungu Luxury Tented Camp offers game drives in open Land Rovers and guided bush walks. Guests can expect to see lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and other general game on game drives and the bird watching in the area is prolific. The day begins with a game drive of approximately four hours, accompanied by a qualified ranger and tracker. The night game viewing is an experience of its own. Nocturnal sightings might include bush babies, the elusive genet, or predators hunting and stalking their prey.
