Singita Castleton Camp is located in the Singita Private Game Reserve in the heart of the Sabi Sand Reserve, a world-renowned wildlife area. Sabi lies adjacent to the Kruger National Park and no fences exist between the two parks; bordering the Kruger National Park ensures that the watering hole attracts diverse wildlife and offers prime game viewing. Singita Castleton Camp offers 3 double cottages with 6 rooms in total offering en-suite bathrooms in a beautiful garden. All rooms offer air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans. The main farmhouse offers beautiful wide verandas and a spacious lounge and dining area. Castleton Camp is booked on an exclusive basis and caters for 12 guests. Guests can enjoy gourmet cuisine prepared by a talented chef, fine South African wines, fireside dinners in the boma and sundowners out in the bush, while children can enjoy the tennis court, swimming pool or trampoline. The camp offers a premier wine boutique as well as a spa with a fully equipped gym.
Wildlife in the Sabi Sand Reserve lives up to its international reputation. Abundant in the Big Five and numerous smaller creatures, the reserve is divided by the Sand River, an important source of water. The position of this prime land is perfectly suited to game viewing. Groves of acacia thornveld, Marula trees and flatcrowns give way to open expanses of grassland, where zebra, antelope and wildebeest graze. Drainage lines and dry river beds are leopard territory and these majestic cats are often spotted. Expert rangers and trackers will accompany guests on wildlife expeditions. The camp offers game drives and guided bush walks and the finest big five game viewing in Southern Africa. Lions have always visited Singita Castleton. Game safaris are offered in an open Land Rover, accompanied by a personal game ranger and tracker team.
