Singita Ebony Lodge Description
Singita Ebony Lodge offers twelve suites, accommodating a maximum of 24 guests. All suites offer their own en-suite bathroom, shower, outdoor shower, heated plunge pool, double-sided fireplace, mini bar and fridge, room safe, air-conditioning, overhead fans, private lounge and wooden viewing decks, direct dial telephones and game-viewing deck. The main lodge area consists of a lounge and timber dining deck overlooking the Sand River, a bar area and traditional open boma, gymnasium, health spa, library and wine cellar.
Singita Ebony Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
Singita Ebony Lodge offers a superb wildlife experience in the Sabi Sand Reserve that lives up to its international reputation. Abundant in the Big Five, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant, and numerous other smaller creatures; the reserve is divided by the Sand River, an important source of water and a consistent place of refuge on the animals' endless migration. Guests can partake in game drives in open safari vehicles and guided nature walks on request. Guests can enjoy sunrise and sunsets, and can watch night time predators hunt. The nocturnal safaris in South Africa open up a totally new world and a powerful spotlight illuminates the shy and sometimes rare wildlife. On night safaris when the heat of the day has subsided, the predators such as lion, leopard, hyena, black backed jackal and the owls start their hunting. Drinks are served in the bush at sunset as a gentle introduction to the nocturnal bush.
