Monwana Game Lodge Description
Monwana Game Lodge is a four star exclusive game lodge, comprising of six double rooms, including two family suites and a honeymoon suite. For ultimate guest comfort, all rooms boast air- conditioning, as well as separate bath/shower and toilet facilities. A secluded and private deck or patio over-looking the waterhole/bushveld borders each unit. All beds have full nets and rooms are serviced daily. Facilities at Monwana Lodge include a swimming pool which faces the waterhole, a gazebo with comfortable chairs overlooking the waterhole, a boma and large wooden deck which extends out onto the Monwana River as well as a curio shop, indoor and outdoor dining areas.
Monwana Game Lodge Game Viewing
Thornybush Nature Reserve is home to the big five, lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino as well as a multitude of general game, antelope species, giraffe, zebra, cheetah and incredible birdlife. Guests can expect an early wake up call for tea and coffee, before leaving on the morning game drive. An experienced ranger and tracker, with a wealth of knowledge of the area, will accompany all game activities. Game drives are conducted in open Land Rovers to ensure an optimal game viewing experience. Full brunch is served on return, lazily followed by a noontime siesta, a refreshing swim, or viewing the game quenching their thirst at the waterhole. An English tea is served in the afternoon closely followed by another exhilarating game drive. The African night brings out the predators and many other nocturnal animals. Spotting nightlife or hearing a lion roar in the distance proves to be an unforgettable experience. Guests can return to camp to freshen up and enjoy a drink with the ranger and hostess to discuss the sightings of the day.

Jackalberry Lodge
