Kudu Lodge Description
Kudu Lodge offers luxury accommodation for a total of ten guests is in 5 double rooms - including three single units and a family unit (with two bedrooms). All rooms offer a separate bathroom (2 in the case of the family unit), including an outdoor shower. The rooms offer a private deck offering beautiful views as well as a peaceful and tranquil setting. Kudu Lodge overlooks a vast open area and waterhole with spectacular mountain views as well as an abundance of game in front of the lodge provides plenty of action and good game viewing opportunities.
Kudu Lodge Game Viewing
Qualified and experienced guides will accompany guests on all game activities and guests can expect to see the big five, lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo in their natural surroundings. Apart from the big five, Welgevonden includes kudu, giraffe, zebra, warthog and the rare roan antelope amongst others. For the bird lovers there are approximately 300 species that occur in this diverse and magnificent 33 000 hectares of bushveld. Morning game drives are unique with the beauty of the rising African sun, evening/nights drives are a highlight, where the mysterious nightlife can be viewed by spotlight. For the more adventurous guests, guided bush walks are available.
