Nedile Lodge is situated in the Malaria free Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, just 2.5 hours north of Pretoria. Welgevonden Reserve is a Heritage Site of 33000 hectares and borders the Marekele National Park, situated in the breathtaking Waterberg environment offering a true bushveld experience.
Nedile Lodge Description
Nedile Lodge accommodates a maximum of 10 guests in five exclusive suites. Each room has a private deck, fireplace, and ceiling fan as well as its own en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers. The main building has a central African theme and consists of a lounge/bar and dining area, all leading out onto Seligna decks with a swimming pool. A rock boma provides an outside dining area where guests can enjoy a traditional campfire. The cuisine offered at Nedile is of very high standard and meals are served in the elegant dining area or in the starlit, outside boma.
Nedile Lodge Game Viewing
All activities, game drives and guided bush walks will be accompanied by experienced and professional guides. Nedile Lodge is a true bushveld environment and is home to some of Africa's most sought after game species including one of the largest collections of white (square-lip) rhino on private land. Guests can also expect to see other species including elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, eland, sable and many other varieties of antelope. There may even be the opportunity of seeing aardvark, brown hyena or rarely seen honey badger.
