Cybele Forest Lodge and Health Spa is situated on three hundred acres of pristine African bushveld. The Lodge consists of a delightful old farmhouse with a wide patio overlooking beautiful gardens. The lodge offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, furnished with antiques, original art and exquisite fabrics. Guests can enjoy the lodge's legendary cuisine as well as luxurious accommodation.
Cybele Forest Lodge Description
Cybele Forest Lodge can accommodate a total 28 guests. The suites offer stocked mini bars, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities and Charlotte Rhys toiletries. All rooms and suites have walled gardens, many with views over the mountains, and six have heated pools for personal use. Other features include separate lounge areas, air conditioning throughout, heated towel rails, satellite television, faultless bedrooms and bathrooms, many with walled outside showers, under-floor heating and fireplaces. The food at Cybele is of very high standard and supervised by internationally experienced chefs. It is a combination of classic French combined with traditional English. The lodge offers a full buffet breakfast, table d 'Hote dinner menu is presented every evening and the dinner menu offers diners a well-selected choice of starters, main courses, side dishes, desserts and cheeses to satisfy all palates. Lunch is a là carte, served either in the gardens under the trees, in the dining room or in the privacy of your room. The Forest Health Spa at Cybele offers a natural wellspring of health and serenity, offering a wide range of treatments to revitalize the body. Guests are encouraged to book a consultation with the Spa Manager to ensure that they receive the most from their Forest Health Spa experience.
Cybele Forest Lodge Activities
There are a variety of activities to choose from, guests can explore the lowveld in a comfortable vehicle with an experienced guide or enjoy a helicopter trip - " mountain magic" for the highlights of Mpumalanga with lunch on a private mountain top, or "winged safari" for a flight into the very heart of the bush with an open land rover game drive at a private game reserve. Other activities include Hot Air Ballooning, the New Elephant Sanctuary in Hazyview, a fixed wing scenic flight or Elephant Back Safari. Guests can also visit the cheetah breeding project in Hoedspruit or visit the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Eden.
