The Hide is situated in one of southern Africa's finest game parks in Hwange National Park. This comfortable tented safari camp offers spectacular scenery as well as an abundance of wildlife. Hwange National Park is the largest game reserve in Zimbabwe and offers visitors 14 650 km² of prime African wilderness as well as a haven for wildlife.

The Hide Description

The Hide caters for a maximum of 16 guests in comfortable furnished tents, each offering en-suite facilities with a bathroom, hot water showers, basins and flush toilets. Guests can choose between twin and double beds and each tent has its own private verandah overlooking the camps' nearby waterhole. The camp is known for their gourmet cuisine and meals are served in the dining area or outdoors underneath the trees; an open log fire area offers the ideal spot where guests can enjoy drinks before or after dinner and the camp also offers a swimming pool.

The Hide Game Viewing and Activities

Hwange National Park offers superb game viewing opportunities and activities at The Hide include game drives and bush walks accompanied by expert guides. The waterhole next to the camp offers exciting game viewing and a wide variety of wildlife can be seen in the camp's immediate vicinity including elephant, lion and rhino. Guests can enjoy camouflaged hides situated near the waterhole offering a unique experience of viewing game safely from close quarters. Other activities include excursions into the Park with experienced and professional guides. Hwange National Park has the second highest number of mammals of any national park in the world. There are also over 400 recorded species of birds.
