Madikwe Safari Lodge is situated in the heart of the diverse and malaria-free 76 000- hectare Madikwe Game Reserve one of South Africa's biggest wildlife sanctuaries. Famed for Operation Phoenix; the world's largest game translocation exercise with the introduction of more than 8 000 animals. Madikwe Safari Lodge overlooks game-filled plains with the Dwarsberg Hills in the distance and the Marico River nearby.
Madikwe Safari Lodge Description
Madikwe Safari Lodge offers three exclusive camps with a total of 20 suites. Each suite offers a sitting area, a bedroom with circular fireplace, a dressing area with personal bar and a bathroom with twin hand basins, large bathtub, indoor and outdoor shower, and private toilet. French doors opening onto wooden decking lead to sparkling plunge pools. The main areas of the lodge consist of an intimate sitting area and shaded outdoor seating area on a large covered deck. There are fireplaces both inside and out for dining as well as a covered outdoor living room. The Boma area offer romantic starlit dinners. The lodge also has a safari shop. Once camp offers only four suites perfect for exclusive use.

Situated in the heart of the diverse Madikwe Game Reserve one of South Africa's largest wildlife sanctuaries, Madikwe Safari Lodge offers exceptional game viewing opportunities. Madikwe comprises five distinct habitats which are home to an array of African wildlife. In addition to Africa's Big Five, guests may see large numbers of elephant, giraffe and impala occurring alongside oryx, springbok, red hartebeest, as well as several of the 350 species plus of birds that call the reserve their home. Professional and expert rangers will deliver a world-class interpretive experience of the bush on morning and afternoon/evening game-drives in 4x4 safari vehicles. Photographic opportunities of the Reserves fauna, flora and topography are excellent.
