This is a 5 night safari exploring 2 of our favourite private Kruger reserves, the Timbavati, and the neighbouring Klaserie Nature Reserve. An affordable and adventurous trip, this combination of camps offers some of the most authentic safari experiences in the Greater Kruger Park.

Days 1 to 3 - Africa on Foot Camp , Klaserie Private Nature Reserve
Arrive at Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport where you will meet your scheduled transfer at the OR Tambo Bus terminal (departs 06h35) and drive to Africa on Foot Camp in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. Here, you will stay for 3 nights on a full board basis which includes a bush walk in the morning and game drive in the evening.
Africa on Foot accommodates 10 guests in 5 chalets, while there is also a treehouse for 'sleep-outs under the stars' - something different that appeals to the more adventurous traveller. The thatched main area consists of a lounge and dining room as well as a Boma and campfire area where guests gather in the evenings to exchange stories about the bush.
Days 4 to 6 - Shindzela Tented Safari Camp , Timbavati Private Nature Reserve
After your morning game activity and a lovely brunch, you will self-drive to Shindzela Tented Safari Camp, in the Timbavati Game Reserve.Spend 2 nights here on a full board basis inclusive of game viewing activities like walks and drives.
Shindzela Tented Safari Camp offers a rustic yet comfortable bush camp experience. Accommodation consists of twin bed canvas safari tents with a wooden entrance door, mesh to keep out the insects, as well as a cool thatch roof and a veranda.
Day 6 - Depart back to Johannesburg or Cape Town
After your morning game activity and brunch, you will transfer back by road to Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport in time for your onward travel arrangements.
