Hlosi Game Lodge Description
Hlosi Game Lodge consists of 4 double/twin suites and 2 family suites catering for a maximum of 12 guests; the suites are intimate and tastefully decorated with a classic ambience together with the luxuries of contemporary lodge living. The suites offer private verandas which overlook the surrounding grasslands as well as a spa bath and shower in the spacious en-suite bathroom. Each suite boasts air conditioning, outside showers, fireplaces and under floor heating as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The main lodge area includes a lounge and a dining room with a fireplace. The lodges' library offers both television and an Internet access point. In addition, the main veranda area offers magnificent views of the Eastern Cape grasslands; as does the elevated hide that looks out over the nearby waterhole. A swimming pool offers guests relief from the heat of the day.

Amakhala Game Reserve offers a malaria-free big five game experience. The reserve offers breathtaking views and is home to an incredible array of wildlife including lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, black wildebeest, zebra, tortoise and well over 16 antelope species. Experienced and knowledgeable rangers will accompany guests on all game activities, providing them with in-depth information about the region and its inhabitants. For guests seeking relaxation at its best, a slow cruise down the Bushman's River can be enjoyed. Exceptional bird viewing and sightings of game drinking at the river's edge can be enjoyed while canoeing down the river. Guests are also given the opportunity of lion sightings in the famous Shamwari Game Reserve, situated next to Amakhala Game Reserve.
