Three Rivers Camp
At the meeting of the Luangwa, Kapamba, and Lusangazi Rivers in South Luangwa, Zambia, lies the opulent tented safari resort known as Three Rivers Camp. The chic tents are positioned next to game-rich lagoons or the Luangwa River under shaded sausage trees.
Three Rivers Camp is the first to be built on the dividing line between the national park and the Malama Chiefdom. It is at an absolutely amazing setting with wildlife roaming through the camp. The dining area has unrestricted views of the Luangwa and Kapamba Rivers, where hippos adore to sunbathe on the fine river sand. Visitors may unwind on the comfortable daybeds while watching giraffes and waterbucks amble past since three of the tents are placed directly on the edge of the oxbow lagoon, which is alive with wildlife. With only five roomy tents, the camp is delightfully cosy and tastefully furnished with natural materials and earthy tones. The numerous gauzed windows offer wide vistas of the Luangwa River and the neighbouring lagoon. Enjoy the views as each tent includes a private wooden deck with comfortable chairs. Showers both inside and outside, double sinks, and flushing toilets are all features of the en suite bathrooms. The camp's distinguishing characteristic is that each tent includes a separate sleep out that is securely connected to the tent for easy access both day and night. Therefore, you can decide to spend the night in the luxurious star beds, only hearing and seeing the noises of the African wilderness.

Activities at Three Rivers camp include bush walks around the camp and along the banks of the river in addition to wildlife drives in the South Luangwa National Park. Meet lions, leopards, wild dogs, giraffes, waterbuck, and perhaps the relatively uncommon roan antelope. There are also short night-time drives offered before dinner and guests can walk between the campgrounds if combining Three Rivers Camp with Island Bush Camp. Three Rivers Camp is seasonal and open from 25 May to 1 November.
