Camp Shawu Description
Camp Shawu can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests in 5 luxury rooms overlooking the Mpanamana Dam. All are luxuriously equipped with romantic ball and claw baths, a mini bar, sitting area facing open fireplace, ceiling fans and outside showers. A large veranda with reclining chairs and umbrellas is the perfect spot from which to watch the game come down to drink. Facilities consist of a lounge, indoor and outdoor dining area as well as a splash pool.

Camp Shawu offers a variety of game viewing activities including game drives in open safari vehicles, bird-watching as well as self-drives. Guests can expect to see lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino, cheetah, hippo and crocodile plus a multitude of general game and over 450 bird species may be viewed from the comfort and safety of the open game drive vehicle. The professional armed rangers and trackers conduct all game drives ensuring that rare bird species and the more fascinating fauna and flora are not overlooked.
