Camp Figtree is an isolated and private lodge situated on top of the spectacular Zuurberg mountain range in the heart of the Addo Elephant Park. The camp offers magnificent 270-degree views. Camp Figtree has been designed around its original 1920's traditional colonial building style.

Camp Figtree Game Viewing and Activities
In 1931 the original Elephant section of the park was proclaimed, when only eleven elephants remained in the area. Today there is over 450 elephants, Cape buffalo, black rhino, lion, a variety of antelope species, as well as the unique flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in this region. Some of the unique features of the park include, unrivalled natural diversity, with five of South Africa's seven major vegetation zones (biomes). The Big 7 (Elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, leopard, whales and great white sharks) in their natural habitat and the area is Malaria Free. The unique location of Camp Figtree enables the lodge to offer a host of game viewing activities and other options, all of which can be arranged to best suit the guests. Activities include, game drives lead by expert guides, Riverbend endangered species drives, Addo Elephant National Park Horse trails, sundowner walks, bush breakfasts and picnics at Camp Figtree.
