Resting on the banks of the Delta’s fresh waters and the fringe of Moremi’s savannah terrain, Mboma truly is an inimitable hideaway. Guests seeking the best of both land and water based safaris won’t be disappointed. From game drives into the Moremi to boat cruises along the hippo-filled channels of the Delta, and traditional guided mokoro trips; Mboma offers the full spectrum of wildlife experiences.

5 Meru-style canvas tents joined by lantern lined pathways provide the perfect place to retire after a day spent spotting big game. Each tent is en-suite and has open-air bathrooms, chemical toilets, bucket showers, and runs on solar power. Both the main area and tents are surrounded by the busy waterways of the palm-lined Godikwe Lagoon. Mboma Island Expeditions, previously known as Mboma Island Camp, is one of the most splendid rustic mobile safari camps in the Okavango Delta.
