Hog Hollow Country Lodge is a 4-star lodge situated in an area called The Crags in the Garden Route in the Eastern Cape. Situated on the edge of a beautiful indigenous forest in a private nature reserve, the lodge offers magnificent views of the surrounding area, valleys and mountains.
Hog Hollow Country Lodge Description
Hog Hollow Country Lodge consists of 16 suites all with private decks overlooking forest. King size beds, earthy tones, fireplaces, hammocks and hand-crafted artefacts are just a few of the comfortable touches that welcome guests to their private retreat. Hot water bottles are available in winter as well as a cosy fireplace. Rooms are fitted with mini bars and mini hi-fis but no TVs or telephones. The Main House forms a communal dining area surrounded by a long swimming pool. A boma is available where nightly fires are lit. Other attractions include a forest sauna and privately sited forest shower with incredible views over the valley. Cuisine is outstanding and the lodge is renowned for superb service. Hog Hollow welcomes children. They organise babysitting, special turn downs at night with a glass of fresh milk and a Gingerbread Man, children's stories and CDs, buckets and spades, boogie boards. For junior guests an earlier dining time is available with special menus.
