Ololo is perfectly situated on the beautiful banks of the Mbagathi River, which forms the southern border of the Nairobi National Park. The resort is only a 45-minute drive through the park from Nairobi and both major airports, however its quiet position feels a world apart. Ololo, located on a productive 20-acre working commercial farm, offers the pleasures of excellent 'paddock to plate' fresh foods. The established and quiet gardens allow guests to relax and enjoy a one-of-a-kind safari experience.
Ololo's rooms are distinctive and diversified, each charmingly equipped with historical accuracy. The accommodation at Ololo ranges from the farm's historic converted stables to the tented cottages beneath makuti thatch, as well as the original suites in the lodge's main house and the two-family cottages. During the cooler months, guests can sit by the fire-pit in the garden or warm up to a blazing fireplace in the inviting living room. The stone-clad cellar and tiny library are close by. Whatever time of year you visit, the serenity and home-style comfort that Ololo provides is easy to appreciate.

Wildlife is right on your doorstep at Ololo Safari Lodge, and with a sundowner in hand, everyone can enjoy beautiful views over the national park to the legendary Ngong Hills in the west.
