Client Feedback : Okavango Delta and Savute

Janelle’s clients loved their safari experience in Botswana. Janelle ensured that her clients stayed in 2 different areas in the awe-inspiring Okavango Delta waterways, so that they could maximise their water safari experience. She added on a trip to the  fascinating Savute region in the Chobe National Park for an incredible land based safari experience.  Guests stayed in Savute at Savute Safari Lodge, Xugana Island Lodge on the Xugana Lagoon in the Okavango Delta and Camp Xakanaxa on the banks of the Khwai River in the Moremi National Park.  Here is their feedback : Dear Janelle, Our trip was genius, we had such a great time in Botswana! We saw 4 Leopards in Savute, 30 Lions with cups, and also Wild dogs in Xaxanaka, unbelievable! The Helicopter flight was amazing, Xugana Island impressed us really a lot, specially the friendliness of the staff there. But our favourite Lodge was Savute – Tao our Guide was so funny and really experienced. He gave us a pleasant time there. Dennis and Action are excellent hosts, all the team there is so lovely, we will be back for sure – in combination with Kalahari stay. Thanks for choosing the right tour for us and for your good advises! We keep in touch for our next Africa tour! Happy Greetings...

Client Feedback : Hwange and Victoria Falls

Michelle organised a Zimbabwe safari for her guests, ensuring they experienced the magnificence of Victoria Falls and the world-renown wildlife-rich Hwange National Park Hwange is a vast area with contrasting landscapes, which is why Michelle selected two lodges in very different landscapes. Michelle’s guests stayed at Ilala Lodge in Victoria Falls, a lodge that offers a private lodge experience and a wealth of activity options at the falls. In Hwange National Park, Michelle selected Deteema Springs, which is located on a rocky rise overlooking permanent water springs. The second choice of camp is Verney’s Camp, which is located on a large open floodplain. Here is the feedback :  Hi Michelle We have an amazing time in Zimbabwe thank you. Just settling back into real life that has been difficult! We loved all 3 places we stayed and found them all quite different to each other. Ilala offered a lovely touch of luxury and everyone there was welcoming and helpful. Our room was perfect and we could see warthogs and the spray from Victoria Falls from the balcony. Deteema was a very cute little safari camp. We really felt like part of their little family and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Our first night we had the whole camp to ourselves and they put on a special romantic honeymoon meal for us. The first morning we were greeted with lion cubs in the camp – an amazing experience. It was probably our favourite camp for the atmosphere and friendliness. Everything was so easy and we didn’t have to think about a thing. We very much enjoyed the company of the other guests that were travelling in couples, but a large group of 10 arrived and they changed the atmosphere quite a lot – the group were quite overpowering in such a little camp so they may want to consider restricting the group sizes. For us it didn’t ruin the experience as we have such a wonderful private first evening, but their were certainly less animals around camp when the big group arrived. Verney’s was much bigger and although everyone was friendly, it was run more like a hotel than Deteema so the feel was luxurious but different. They have the advantage in terms of game viewing due to their location as we saw a lot more at this camp than at Deteema – so our favourite for animals! Our tent was also amazing – I think the whole of Deteema Springs camp could fit inside our own tent at Verney’s! We think the combination of all three was good, and probably...

Client Feedback : Romance at Simbavati Hilltop

Liselle’s clients wanted to do something ultra-special for their wedding anniversary, so came to Liselle for suggestions. Knowing just the place, Liselle quickly jumped into action and booked the loved-up couple a safari to Simbavati Hilltop. A romantic paradise in the heart of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Hilltop is perfect for honeymoons and anniversaries. Here is her client feedback :  Hi Liselle, I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to let you know my husband and I returned from South Africa yesterday. Thanks so much for the recommendation for Simbavati Hilltop Lodge – it was fantastic! We saw so many fascinating animal interactions thanks to our awesome guide and tracker and couldn’t get over how often we were fed (and how delicious everything was). We also loved our accommodations. They also recognized our wedding anniversary with flower petals and candles in our tent one night and a romantic dinner which was a very special surprise. We just wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks again!...

Client Feedback : Vic Falls, Botswana and Cape Town

Liselle’s clients enjoyed a fantastic safari in key safari destinations in southern Africa. They also experienced the coastal splendour of cosmopolitan Cape Town, which meant that they got to enjoy a variety of landscapes. Shinde is located in a private concession in the Moremi Game Reserve, Lebala Camp is located in the Linyanti region, Chobe Game Lodge and Chobe Princess in the national park, Royal Livingstone at the cascading Victoria Falls, the luxurious Majeka House in Stellenbosch and the V&A Hotel in Cape Town’s famous Waterfront area. Hi Liselle and John, Apologies for the extremely late reply. We did enjoy our holiday and it’s a awe-inspiring experience for me personally. We saw so many animals and the accomodation and hospitality were out of this world. You can see a picture attached! By the way, I am going to pass your contact to a friend of mine and she may contact you for enquiries on possibly booking a trip. If you get any emails from somebody from HK who said she got your contact from Bess, please extend your great services to them! Best in regards...

Client Feedback : Mana Pools National Park

Having just returned from a safari experience of her own, Natasha knows a thing or two about the bushveld. Her first-hand knowledge means that she is able to carefully knit together itineraries suited to her guests’ needs. Natasha selected the game-rich Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe, and selected two remarkable camps for her guests : Kanga and Zambezi Expeditions. Here is Jodie’s feedback :  Hi Natasha How are you? We had an absolutely amazing time in Mana Pools. Our only downfall was that we weren’t there long enough! We both said 2 night’s just isn’t enough, the minimum should be 3 and we are both interested in returning in the future. The staff at both camps were courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and beautiful, they are a big part of the experience and it was so much richer because of them. The armchair safari at Kanga was incredible.  Being able to sit a mere meter away from elephants as they drink, getting the odd bit of mud flicked our way is something that we have loved sharing with our friends and family back home. It also allowed me to capture a picture of an elephants eye I have been chasing for a long time. Zambezi Expeditions was completely different and we loved it just as much. Lunch was interrupted by elephants feeding on the seed pods right next to the dinning tent. We had the opportunity of approaching Boswel (The elephant that rears back on his hind legs to feed) on foot and to approach lions on foot too. What a heart hammering experience that was! Our guides were amazing, they have a great understanding of the bush and the wildlife and we felt completely safe. Thank you for your help with booking this trip, we really had a great time. Have a lovely day Jodie...

Client Feedback : Nsala Safari Camp and Nambu Camp

Judging from their rave reviews, it appears that Natasha’s clients loved their safari to the Greater Kruger. Natasha booked 2 camps that are located in uncrowded, private reserves and offer an intimate safari experience. It certainly looks like she made the right choice when she chose Nsala Safari Camp and Nambu Camp for her German guests. Here is their feedback : Hi Natasha, Thanks for your email. It was AMAZING!! Nsala was very nice, we were the only guests at that time so it was very private. We saw lots of animals but the cats were hiding very well 🙂 Nambu Camp was different but beautiful aswell. Very kind people and just a perfect spot to be. For sure a place we want to visit again because now only the rhino and leperd is missing!! Umhlanga is well known to me as I am going there since I am a child, it was great as always. You organized a perfect safari holiday for us, we are so thankful!! For sure you will hear from us, and we will recommend you whenever we can. 🙂 Below you find a few pictures – thanks again and we‘ll hear from eachother soon! All the best from Hamburg, Wiebke &...
