Client Feedback : Cape to Kruger to Vic Falls

Liselle’s clients enjoyed a Kruger safari combined with a trip to coastal Cape Town and the mighty Victoria Falls. Their trip offered the best of the Cape with a stay at the luxury Franschhoek Country House in the world-renown winelands. The Cape Cadogan is a discerning Victorian style boutique hotel hideaway in the leafy suburbs of central Cape Town. Nsala Safari Camp and Arathusa were the safari destinations of choice, both located within private reserves in the Kruger. Nsala was an authentic safari experience and Arathusa touched on typical Sabi Sand luxury. The breathtaking Victoria Falls proved to be yet another highlight of their tour. At the falls they stayed at the David Livingstone.

Here is their feedback :

Hi Lizelle,

We had a fabulous time – everything exceeded our expectations!! We arrived home on the 29th of May- after wonderful visit with our grandchildren in England.

Starting our trip in Cape Town, was super and we loved the Cape Cadogan – beautiful room, excellent breakfast and very helpful staff! Our day tours were great as was Mark Shelton who was very nice and full of information. Franschhoek Country House: We loved the town, loved our Garden Cottage and had wonderful meals Ben was a helpful and very friendly manager!  I would love to return there!! The wine tour was wonderful and Mark took us to great places.  Stellenbosch was also very nice, but we didn’t have much time there – as we had to get back to Cape Town.

Our driver, whose name escapes me, was also very nice who drove us  back and forth from Franschhoek, to Table Mt  then to the dock to get to Robbens Island – which was very informational and finally to the airport.

Nsala Safari Camp had very welcoming staff, and very good food. We did see a lot of animals on safari, and Sandy and his family had a wonderful firepit dinner for us, in a dried up river bed,  which was a lovely surprise and spectular for our last night.

Arathusa was the complete opposite of Nsala, which made for interesting comparisons. It truly was deluxe and we enjoyed every minute including a wonderful massage! Food there was also very good. The staff were amazing and knew us all by name. The animals we saw were awe inspiring – it was truly amazing!! We saw the big 5 several times, which was wonderful.

It was very nice to be upgraded to a suite at the David Livingston Lodge- that is a superior place. Victory Falls was something to see , that’s for sure. Exploring the market place was really an experience!!

All in all, South Africa was a trip of a life time! We will recommend you to our friends who are interested in safari.

Many thanks for all of your help,

Barbara & Terry Lacey
