The KAZA Visa for Zimbabwe and Zambia is here!

The Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area ( or KAZA TFCA) spans five countries in Southern Africa; Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. This area is centred around the Caprivi / Chobe / Victoria Falls areas where all five countries meet.

Their goal:

“To sustainably manage the Kavango Zambezi ecosystem, its heritage and cultural resources based on best conservation and tourism models for the socio-economic well being of the communities and other stakeholders in and around the eco-region through harmonization of policies, strategies and practices.”

And now a Univisa is on the cards. The pilot project is being rolled out with just Zimababwe and Zambia, as stage 1. Stage 2 aims to include all five countries, Stage 3 is to add Mozambique and South Africa. Currently each country has their own visa requirements for visitors and this Univisa aims to make it even easier to visit!
