A good holiday in Botswana and Zambia – Guest feedback by Liselle Raath

Liselle Raath sent her guest Peter Ward and friends on a trip to Botswana and Zambia where they stayed over at Stanley’s Camp, Chobe Chilwero, Tongabezi Lodge. Peter shared the following guest feedback:

“Hi Liselle

Re the lodges, each was very different but enjoyable!!

Stanley’s Camp was the ‘real’ safari with excellent accommodation in the form of rigid tents; attentative staff; great guides; off road and night game viewing; and good food!!

Chobe Chilwero was much nearer to being a hotel. Excellent facilities and food.  Game drives hampered by having to stick to the roads and, of course, there were more people about. The boat trips were very good!!

The road transfer to Zambia was very well organised and enjoyable.

Tongabezi is something else!! I shall definitely return there!! We had a palatial suite about 100 metres or so above the Zambesi with a completely open frontage. Spectacular. Food and staff excellent!!

In Cape Town, we stayed at the Cape Grace before moving on to Franschhoek [Le Quartier Francais] and Hermanus [The Marine].

All-in-all a good holiday!!

Hope this helps.

Best wishes

Peter”
