Supreme South Africa – Guest feedback by Liselle Raath

Recently, Liselle heard back from one of her clients who has landed safely on home turf after enjoying a diverse South African vacation. Dawn stayed in the beautiful winelands at Franschhoek Country House before heading toward the southern tip of Africa, Cape Town, where she spent 3 nights at Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel. Then it was off to the bush for an exciting week on safari! First stop, Tanda Tula Safari Camp in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, for 3 nights; then to nThambo Tree Camp in the neighbouring Klaserie Reserve, for her final 3 nights.

Here is what Dawn had to say about her time spent in South Africa:

Hi Liselle,

I just got back this morning. I had a fabulous time!!! Safari camps were the best and I loved both Tanda Tula and nThambo. The guides and the food were far better in Tanda Tula than in nThambo, but the tree lodge accommodations with the open wall was just spectacular. Unfortunately the weather while I was in the Winelands was pretty miserable so I didn’t get to do the horseback wine tasting that  I wanted to. Next time in Cape Town, I would like to stay on/near the water and go down to Hermanus as well.

I am posting some pictures and some blog posts about my time on safari. I will definitely be going back!

Thanks so much for your help in planning this.
