“Dear Celeste,
I wanted to be sure to let you know how much we enjoyed the trip that you planned for us. You had us booked at nThambo Tree Camp for 2 days, and Arathusa Lodge for 3 days. We were charmed by nThambo, partly for the accommodations–it was just lovely to be up high at night, listening to the animals. The real highlight for us and for the Holdens was Harvey, the manager and ranger. He was a wonderful guide and teacher, giving us so much information about the animals, and making sure that we were having a quality visit. I can’t say enough about our stay there. It is just perfect for people trying to avoid a posh lodge–we had a very personalized visit, and it was wonderful.
We were nervous that we wouldn’t like Arathusa Safari Lodge as much, but it was a very nice lodge, and we were rewarded with great animal sightings. The food was extraordinary as well. Thank you very much for putting together our trip–every thing went very smoothly, including our experience with Seasons of Africa. Mike was our driver on both of our trips by van, and he was both an excellent driver and a cheerful companion. We could not have been happier, and will be delighted to recommend your services whenever possible.
