Untouched Luxury Botswana and Victoria Falls Safari – 15 Days

One of Sun Safaris favourite guests recently referred yet another client to us, so I decided to share one of the safaris that her and her son travelled on for his 21st birthday present.

Untouched Luxury Botswana and Victoria Falls Safari

Day One

Catch your flight from Johannesburg to Livingstone. Upon arrival in Livingstone Airport you will be met and road transferred to the Royal Livingstone Hotel for 1 night on a bed & breakfast basis.

You will be collected at 15h30 for your Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River.

The Royal Livingstone Hotel offers 173 luxurious spacious en-suite rooms, each offering its own private veranda overlooking the river. All rooms are tastefully decorated with crisp white linen and large comfortable beds.

Day Two

This morning you will be road transferred back to Livingstone Airport where you will catch your light air transfer to Duma Tau Camp for 3 nights on a fully inclusive basis.

DumaTau means “roar of the lion”. The area is renowned for enormous elephant concentrations and incredible wildlife. DumaTau is situated along the Savute Channel in the private Linyanti concession in northern Botswana.

Day Five

After your morning game activity and brunch, you will be light air transferred to Little Vumbura Camp for 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis.

Little Vumbura consists of six tented rooms accommodating a total of 12 guests. The camp is shaded by the canopy of an ancient Okavango forest. The tents are spacious and airy and offer en-suite facilities. The camp has a plunge pool as well as a reading area that overlooks the floodplains. A star deck leads off the dining area.

Day Seven

After your morning game activity and brunch, you will be light air transferred to Chitabe Lediba Camp for 3 nights on a fully inclusive basis.

Chitabe Lediba is a small, intimate camp situated on the same beautiful island as Chitabe Main Camp alongside the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp offers breathtaking views and is ideal for families or small groups of friends and offers guests a personalised safari experience in an area promising incredible wildlife viewing.

Day Ten

After your morning game activity and brunch, you will be light air transferred to Xigera Camp for 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis.

Xigera Camp (pronounced Keejera) consists of ten luxury tented rooms each offering en-suite facilities and an outdoor shower. Raised on wooden platforms and walkways, each tent offers magnificent views of the seasonal floodplain and lagoon. Meals are superb and evening drinks are enjoyed in the lounge, pub and dining area or under the stars in a traditional African boma. The camp also has a small plunge pool.

Day Twelve

After your morning game activity and brunch, you will be light air transferred to Kalahari Plains Camp for 3 nights on a fully inclusive basis.

Kalahari Plains Camp is situated in a remote part of the diverse and productive Central Kalahari Game Reserve in the central part of Botswana. This reserve is the largest conservation area in the country and at 5 million hectares (12 million acres), one of the largest in the world. This camp is located in a beautiful setting within the Kalahari Desert biome, a place famed for its outstanding wildlife, including the legendary black-maned Kalahari lion.

Day Fifteen

After your morning game activity and brunch, you will be light air transferred back Maun Airport to catch your flight back to Johannesburg.
