The three Sparta Pride females successfully hunted a wildebeest. After not having eaten for a few days, they were extremely hungry! As the clouds moved in, the wind picked up, presenting perfect conditions for the hungry and desperate cats. With the Londolozi game drive vehicle following at a distance, the lionesses walked in sync, and stalked their prey for over 2 hours.
As with most successful hunts, it happened incredibly quickly, and as the landrover pulled up to the scene, the lionesses were already all over the wildebeest.
Success at last!
