Introduction

Accommodation

The Zambezi Sun Hotel caters for all interests. The 212 rooms have a variety of views. Open and airy the rooms are designed with Zambian influences leaving an atmosphere of bright earthy colours thats fun and welcoming. All rooms are air-conditioned and have satellite television.

Swimming Pool

The poolside beckons and the service is superior. There are a variety of poolside activities at the Zambezi Sun that encourage guests to venture towards its azure blue depths. The huge free-form pool meanders round a pavilion restaurant and an outdoor bandstand and dance floor. An established group entertain guests with soft jazz, blues and impromptu pop music. The pool deck is also the scene of more formal occasions such as cocktail receptions and alfresco dining.

Activities

If guests are not enjoying the sun at the swimming pool, or sipping on cocktails, then theyre perhaps enjoying a day full of optional activities. Victoria Falls offers a wide range of adventure activities. From white river rafting, bungee jumping , jet boats or microlight there isnt much you cant experience whilst staying at the Zambezi Sun. For the not so wild at heart, you can enjoy fishing or sun set boat cruises which allow you to explore the quieter stretches of the Zambezi.

Elephant Back safaris

The park is resident to wild elephant, hippo, buffalo, impala, giraffe, zebra and small cats such as civet and servile. Guests will be able to ride with their guides through the beautiful riverine scenery, a unique experience to interact with this magnificent animal and understand its intelligence and willingness to act under instruction. The ride itself is approximately one hour, the interaction time spent with the elephants approximately three hours.
